Hello, I'm Mia-Lynne!
I'm so glad you're here! I founded MLStrategies to help people identify and develop their natural talents and learn how to integrate their Strengths to achieve their goals.
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people thrive. From a young age, I loved personality tests and understanding how small insights about ourselves could transform the way we live, work, and connect with others. In college, that curiosity turned into a true passion when I discovered Gallup CliftonStrengths. Witnessing and experiencing the positive impact of leadership development and mentorship firsthand, I realized the opportunity to impact others.
Through my experiences in leadership, recruiting, and coaching, I saw how powerful it is when people understand their natural talents. I also saw how many individuals and organizations were operating without clarity on what actually makes them effective.
My mission became clear: to help people lead and live from their Strengths.
Coaching allows me to combine everything I care about, helping individuals grow, partnering with businesses to build stronger teams, and directly impacting others in a meaningful way. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching someone recognize their potential, step into their strengths, and thrive!
Mia-Lynne Smith
Background
Smith is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and two-time graduate of the University of Oklahoma. While at OU, Smith was named the “Overall Outstanding Senior” based on leadership and involvement both on and off campus. Additionally, she was recognized through numerous other campus awards including The President's Award for Outstanding Volunteer, Campus Life Award, PE-ET Honor Society and Homecoming Court.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate in 2024 with her Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in Marketing and Entreprenuership, Smith then earned her Master of Science in Entreprenuership and Innovation in 2025.
Smith is a Published Tedx Talk Speaker, Children’s Book Author and has served in many leadership positions. She utilizes her education, public speaking experience, mentorship and leadership experience to help others thrive both personally
and professionally.
Why Mia-Lynne?
My approach is shaped by both the highest level of professional training and firsthand experience inside the admissions process and interview rooms. As a two-time graduate of the University of Oklahoma, I was honored as the University’s Overall Outstanding Senior, a distinction awarded to one graduating student annually. For four years, I served within the Office of Admissions and Recruitment on the Student Advisory Board and additionally served as a Campus Tour Guide and a College of Business Lead Ambassador. These experiences gave me direct insight into how institutions evaluate applicants and what distinguishes memorable candidates.
As a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach, I integrate Strengths-Based strategy into every advisory experience, helping students clearly articulate their value, leadership, and direction. My marketing and entrepreneurship degrees, Gallup Coaching Certification and extensive interview experience across academic and competitive settings allows me to provide students with both a strategic perspective and practical preparation. Ultimately, I equip students to communicate with confidence and composure both on paper and in high-stakes environments.
